RedCrest and RedCrest Probate, the Supreme Court of Victoria's electronic filing system, is unavailable due to a planned system upgrade from 6pm on Thursday 17 April 2025 to midnight on Tuesday 22 April 2025.
Urgent filings for all matters except for Probate may be submitted during the period of the outage by emailing the documents and an explanation of the urgency to civil@supcourt.vic.gov.au. If the Registry assesses the filing as urgent (for example if filing on last day of an appeal period or where filing the following day would be statute-barred) users will be able to file once services are resumed and have them backdated by the Court to the date and time the email was received.
For all other filings, users should wait until the services resume on Wednesday 23 April 2025. There is no need to email the Court for non-urgent filings.
Probate Office
No new advertisements, applications for probate or administration, or answers to requests for further information can be submitted for filing during the period of the outage.
